Butterfly Ruby Earrings

For these earrings, I worked with a gradient of pink tones, paired with oxidized rosy copper for a warm, cohesive feel. The table-cut Czech glass butterfly beads are a favorite of mine, which I combined with pear-shaped faceted ruby drops, tiny Czech bicones, and hand-formed heart head pins.

All of the metalwork is copper, including the ear wires, which I hand-crafted for this pair. The earrings are just over 2” in length and weigh 2 g each — lightweight and feminine, with gentle movement.
