Falling for Autumn

This one-of-a-kind necklace is a celebration of the season. I hand-sculpted the botanical focal pendant in polymer clay and crafted the rest with bare copper wire, opting for a bright finish. After adding a hand-woven bail, I alternated beaded connectors with chainmail links for the chain, finishing it with an s-clasp closure.

The itty-bitty beads are hessonite garnets and deep brown English-cut Czech glass. I included fun bead dangles on the bail and beneath the pendant as well. I love the raised details on the textured jump rings. 

Necklace measures 22” in length and weighs 19g.
