This sterling silver necklace lilac and teal necklace begins with the succulent garden pendant I sculpted in polymer clay. I built it petal by petal and shaded it with soft pastels, like a dimensional painting. I love the little dragonfly charm suspended below.
The necklace features wire-wrapped iridescent Czech glass rondelles and mini side-drilled rainbow fluorite points. I’m obsessed with this gemstone shape, plus the purple and teal tones play nicely off the colors in the pendant.
I hand-crafted the links and clasp as well, then finished the piece with lilac rayon cording to keep it lightweight and comfortable to wear.
This necklace was made slowly, start to finish, with attention to balance, texture, and wearability.
